Every Day Should be a Strawberry Sunday!

We held our first Strawberry Sundays craft session at Transition Town Forres this weekend – and what a session it was.

Artists Marion and Oonagh did a wonderful job helping our young participants to make beautiful crowns using seasonal flowers and stems.

A lovely afternoon of fun craft followed with some beautiful results.

PLUS strawberries and caterpillar snacks made of grapes! What’s not to love?

Thanks to everyone who came along, to the wonderful Marion and Oonagh and to the brilliant team at Transition Town Forres for letting us use their space.

More sessions to follow over the summer! Find out more.

A champion of arts and culture has been awarded an MBE in recognition of her service to Moray. Nearly 14 years after founding producer of cultural events and activities, Findhorn Bay Arts, Kresanna Aigner is thrilled to be included in the New Year’s Honours List. She said: “I am deeply honoured. It reflects not just my own work, but the dedication, creativity and belief of the artists, colleagues, volunteers, partners and communities who have shaped Findhorn Bay Arts. “This recognition belongs to everyone who believes that high-quality culture matters, that rural places deserve ambitious creative opportunities, and that the arts can connect people, strengthen communities, and open up possibilities.
Thanks to the support of Findhorn Bay Arts, I (Paige Harvey, Marketing and Community Lead at Findhorn Bay Arts) had the fantastic opportunity to attend this year’s (2025) Arts Marketing Association (AMA) Conference in Edinburgh at the International Conference Centre
