Summer Mini Market Shop

Bringing colour, creativity, locally grown produce and delicious takeaway lunches to town.

From July to October 2021, our first Summer Mini Market shop brought colour, creativity, locally grown organic produce and delicious takeaway lunches to Forres High Street.

Our shop showcased the very best of Moray’s extensive larder, selling produce from around 40 local growers, makers and producers, with an emphasis on the organic, sustainable and handmade.

On Thursdays and Fridays, delicious takeaway picnic lunches and treats made by local catering businesses were on offer for local residents, visitors and workers.

The shop acted as a creative focal point and hub for our audiences during our Source to Sea summer programme of cultural events and activities, while also providing part time employment for Jenny Brown and Grace Green, two young creative professionals from Moray.
