Welcome, and thank you for your interest in the voluntary role of Board Member at Findhorn Bay Arts (FBA).
We are at an exciting stage in our development and are seeking to recruit up to two new Trustees who share our values, believe in our vision, and support our mission to connect, engage, and celebrate people and places through exceptional and diverse creative opportunities in Moray and beyond.
Our Trustees play a vital role in guiding and governing the charity, helping to shape its strategic direction and ensure its long-term sustainability as we move into this next phase of development.
As we enter a new period of growth, our aim is to further strengthen the Board by building on the range of skills, knowledge and experience already in place. We are keen to hear from people with a wide range of lived experiences, perspectives and skills and welcome applications from people who may be underrepresented in the arts in Scotland.
Anyone is welcome to apply, and we are particularly keen to receive applications from Trustees who understand the issues around charity governance, with experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Entrepreneurship in the cultural or creative industries
- Leadership within community, voluntary or third-sector contexts
- Finance (CA qualified or similar)
- Legal expertise
- Disability, access and inclusion
- Climate, environmental sustainability or place-based regeneration
As part of this, we are keen to broaden the diversity of voices around the table and to welcome applications from people who may be underrepresented in the arts in Scotland.
We welcome applications from people living locally and from across Scotland.
Application deadline: Monday 9 March 2026, 5pm
