International Exchange lights up the stage at Celtic Connections

It has been a week since musicians Danielle Price and Martin Thomson aka Dopey Monkey (from Moray) and Jean-Luc Thomas and Garbiel Faure (from Brittany) met in Glasgow to begin their international exchange.

The exchange began with a very special performance at Celtic Connections that saw the ensemble sharing the stage with Brìghde ChaimbeulMaxwell Quartet, and Linda Buckley at the stunning (SOLD OUT) concert at the Macintosh Queens Cross.

A champion of arts and culture has been awarded an MBE in recognition of her service to Moray. Nearly 14 years after founding producer of cultural events and activities, Findhorn Bay Arts, Kresanna Aigner is thrilled to be included in the New Year’s Honours List. She said: “I am deeply honoured. It reflects not just my own work, but the dedication, creativity and belief of the artists, colleagues, volunteers, partners and communities who have shaped Findhorn Bay Arts. “This recognition belongs to everyone who believes that high-quality culture matters, that rural places deserve ambitious creative opportunities, and that the arts can connect people, strengthen communities, and open up possibilities.
