Filmmaker joins Combine to Create programme

We are pleased to announce that that Moray-based filmmaker Jason Sinclair will deliver the Combine to Create film and documentation residency.

Working under under the name Poppycock Films, Jason’s film and media work ranges from brand promotion, music videos, project documentation/collaboration and live event filming. Jason has also co-delivered numerous media and music workshops across Scotland.

Through his residency, Jason will play a crucial role in working with Findhorn Bay Arts, the Combine to Create creative practitioners and community partners to document the process and impact of the programme.

His work will include capturing interviews, engagement activity, performance, interweaving happenings through Findhorn Bay Festival and celebrations through the production of the final Combine to Create film (Year 1) and the production of 15 vertical films focused on creative conversations, key themes and stories from each Combine to Create Targeted/Small Halls Residency.

You can view Jason’s work on his website. Find out more about the Combine to Create programme on our project page.

A champion of arts and culture has been awarded an MBE in recognition of her service to Moray. Nearly 14 years after founding producer of cultural events and activities, Findhorn Bay Arts, Kresanna Aigner is thrilled to be included in the New Year’s Honours List. She said: “I am deeply honoured. It reflects not just my own work, but the dedication, creativity and belief of the artists, colleagues, volunteers, partners and communities who have shaped Findhorn Bay Arts. “This recognition belongs to everyone who believes that high-quality culture matters, that rural places deserve ambitious creative opportunities, and that the arts can connect people, strengthen communities, and open up possibilities.
