FBA Wins Rural Creative Award at the SHIREs

So we have some news… (BIG NEWS!!!)

Last night we were named JOINT WINNERS OF #THESHIRES2021 RURAL CREATIVE AWARD!!!

A huge surprise and very much unexpected! Our co-winners in the Rural Creative category were the brilliant Skyeskyns from Portree.

Congratulations to all the winners and shortlisted companies, and thanks to award hosts Highland News and Media and Harper Macleod for putting on such a fantastic event.

And particular thanks to all our partners and supporters, everyone who has worked with us or helped us over the past 12 months – this award is as much for you as it is for us.

YOU help us make creative things happen. THANK YOU!!!

A champion of arts and culture has been awarded an MBE in recognition of her service to Moray. Nearly 14 years after founding producer of cultural events and activities, Findhorn Bay Arts, Kresanna Aigner is thrilled to be included in the New Year’s Honours List. She said: “I am deeply honoured. It reflects not just my own work, but the dedication, creativity and belief of the artists, colleagues, volunteers, partners and communities who have shaped Findhorn Bay Arts. “This recognition belongs to everyone who believes that high-quality culture matters, that rural places deserve ambitious creative opportunities, and that the arts can connect people, strengthen communities, and open up possibilities.
