Findhorn Bay Festival

Our flagship biennial celebration of arts and culture in Moray, showcasing artists of national and international renown.
Findhorn Bay Festival

The Findhorn Bay Festival is our flagship biennial celebration of arts and culture in Moray and beyond.

Showcasing artists of national and international renown in scenic locations and unusual spaces, the Festival encompasses a vibrant mix of newly commissioned work, theatre and performance, live music, fine-art and photography exhibitions, talks and tours throughout Moray.

In 2018, an estimated 17,000 people attended the Festival, with over 40% visiting  from beyond the region. That year the festival contributed over £860,000 to the local economy through visitor spend, accommodation and production spend.

The festival’s extensive programme of schools workshops and events reached around 2,500 young people in Moray, while over 860 people accessed its creative learning and participatory activities.

While the 2020 festival was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Festival returned on 23 September – 2 October 2022 as part of Scotland’s Year of Stories 2022.

Find out about past events on our Festival website and follow the story on social media using the hashtag #FindhornBayFestival.
